"Describe what a pythagorean triple is and use your perfect square chart from 1 squared to 10 squared to find another one other than 3,4,5."





The pythagorean triple shows us that the size of the legs (a & b) of a right angle triangle makes the square of the hypotenuse (c). The hyopotenuse or 'C' is found on the opposite side of the right angle and is the longest side of the triangle. (Which should be easy to spot.)
So basically, this means that the triple/formula for finding 'C' is A2(squared) + B2 = C2. The numbers A and B should be smaller then the number for C. Which means that C should have the largest number. Any numbers can be put for A, B and C as long as the equation works.


This is what a perfect square chart looks like:

12 = 1
22 = 4
32 = 9
42 = 16
52 = 25
62 = 36
72 = 49
82 = 64
92 = 81
102 = 100

another example for pythagorean triple only reaching up to 10 is 6,8,10.
