1/2 + 1/6 is like 30 +10 = 40 so that is what i did so 1/2 is 30 min and 1/6 is 10 and 30 min +10 min = 40 min

1/4 = 15 min and 7/12 = 35 mins so + togeather and its 50 mins.

15 min + 35 min = 50 min

7. Go back to your picture of the bike race. Tell us all about how you calculated the Km positions at a twelfth, sixth and a third. did you see any patterns?

we went 3 divided by 60 and it equals to 20 and then 6 divided by 60 it equals 10 and 12 divided by 60.

8. What are 2 different ways to find a quarter and 3/4 of a number. Use one of the following 16, 22, or 110.

9) Write a fraction question and answer it. It has to be a question like one you have had on a test. You may answer it in pictorial or word form.

which is bigger 1/2 + 1/4 or 7/12 + 1/5

1/2 is 30 min and 1/4 is 15min

so 30 min +15 = 45 min and this also is the answer to numder 8.

7/12 + 1/5 = 47

7/12 is 35 min and 1/5 is 12 min

so 35 min + 12 min = 47 min
