Romulo's First Growing Post

1/4+7/12 > 1/2+1/6
Well my picture obviously shows which ones bigger just by looking at the pictures of the two. You can also tell because 50 is a way bigger number than 40.

Romulo's Bikerace

These are the methods I used to get a twelfth, sixth and third
To get a twelfth of 60 you have to divide 60 by 12. 60 divided by 12=5
To get a sixth of 60 you have to divide 60 by 6. 60 divided by 6= 10
To get a third of 60 you have to divide 60 by 3. 60 divided by 3= 20

A pattern I saw that many other people probably saw too is that when the fraction is cut in half the quotient is doubled. By that I mean half of a sixth(10) is a twelfth(5). The answer is the one in brackets. See 5(twelfth)x2 is 10(sixth). I dunno if I explained it that well but that's how I saw it.
Another pattern is that a twelfth. a sixth and a third meet at every 20km. That's because thats there lowest common multiple.

Man it's almost impossible to find a game now that everyone has found most of the good ones before me. Do you know how many times I had to edit my post just to find a new one! No one better have this game if they do I'm not changing it because I'm too lazy to keep changing the games I find.
Well here's the game
This game is just like the first one I posted but there's no time on it. The way this works is that you have to find which fractions are equivelent to each other. You can get a new set of fractions when you're done the first one but you have to click start over. It's easy to cheat in this game because there'r this button that says show answers and you know what that button does already. There's really no point in cheating in this game since it's just to help you learn.

I'm going to use 110 for the last question.
To get 1/4 of 110 you can just divide by 4. You would probably need a calculator for this but if you can do it in your head like most people you would know the answer is 27.5
Another way is to do the chopping method by halfing 110 then halfing it again.
110/2=55
55/2=27.5

To get 3/4 of 110 you divide it by 4 to get 1/4 then divide it by 3 to get 3/4.
110/4=27.5
27.5x3=82.5
The other way to do this is the chopping method. So chop 110 into half. Half of 110 is 55. now just get the 1/4 since you have 2/4. We already know 1/4 is 27.5 so just add 55 and 27.5 together.
55+27.5=82.5

For my fraction question I'll be doing 1/2 + 5/12 VS 1/2 + 2/3.

As my picture shows
1/2 + 5/12 > 1/2 + 1/3
You can tell because if you look at the picture when you add them up 1/2 + 5/12 has more shaded in than 1/2 + 1/3
55 also is larger than 50 by 5

Question 6 5/5
Question 7 3 /3
Question 8 5/5
Question 9 5 /5
Question 10 7/7

Total 35/35

I think I should get a 35/35 because I answered all the questions and I think I did a good job on all of them. I should also get a perfect mark because for once I actually didn't write a book but instead writing a book I used pictures. My picture were also good because they were simple and easy to understand.

Wow Romulo I thought you did a really good job on all the questions. I think you could improve on shortening your paragraphs, but still you have good explinations and stuff.
